VISION

We, Prima Plants Research & Developments, are deeply committed to our mission of protecting both natural Gaharu trees from extinction and safeguarding cultivated Gaharu investments. The Gaharu tree, a highly valued species for its precious resin, faces significant threats from unsustainable logging practices and irresponsible land-use planning. The ongoing battle between forest conservation and the growing demand for land for agricultural use and infrastructure development exacerbates climate change and endangers local and global ecosystems.

At Prima Malaysia, we strongly believe that through the development of sustainable, managed cultivated Gaharu plantations, we can help protect not only the natural Gaharu trees but also the habitat of vital species such as orangutans for generations to come.

MISSION

At Prima Plants Research and Developments, our mission is to protect and preserve natural Gaharu trees for future generations while developing innovative solutions to safeguard and enhance cultivated Gaharu investments. We are committed to offering a comprehensive approach that addresses every aspect of Gaharu cultivation, from protecting natural Gaharu populations to improving the resilience of commercial plantations.

Our total solution includes the generation and protection of natural Gaharu trees, the inoculation of existing cultivated Gaharu plantations to improve resin production, and advanced techniques such as cloning through graftulation to enhance the sustainability of Gaharu cultivation. Additionally, we are focused on developing and nurturing cultivated Kynam seedlings—one of the most valuable types of Gaharu—and the identification, isolation, and cultivation of Kynamites, a critical step in ensuring the survival of this species.

By developing, maintaining, monitoring, and managing sustainable Gaharu plantations, we aim to provide long-term solutions for investors and the environment alike. Our work is centered on ensuring that Gaharu cultivation remains both ecologically responsible and economically viable, preserving these precious resources for future generations while supporting investment opportunities.
