Prima Malaysia, or Plants Research & Development (PPRD) is a leading innovator in sustainable plantation management and agroforestry solutions. We specialize in providing a full range of services, from land selection to tree management, harvesting, and processing, utilizing cutting-edge technology and expert knowledge. Founder

Albertus Bruinekool

Albert has spent 25 years in the plantation industry and is an active Plantation Director developing, maintaining and overseeing tens of plantation companies across Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Alberts experience covers a range of forestry products including Agarwood, Camelina, Jatropha along with agriculture produce including Durian, Banana’s, Rambutan and Mango’s.

Albert’s area of true brilliance is software development, it was this that brought Albert into the plantation industry as he developed PM3S. Albert is also a master linguist who is fluent in 12 different languages including Malay and Indonesian.

Lastly, apart from the software created for Plantations called PM3S, Albert has developed various Multimedia Applications and is renowned for his productions with various famous artists in Prima Sound & Vision since 1983.

Kai H.

Kai, the CEO of Prima Malaysia, is a visionary leader with a passion for driving business innovation. Under his leadership, Prima Malaysia has become a dynamic force across various business sectors. With a background rich in experience and knowledge, Kai is committed to fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

His forward-thinking approach and dedication to growth position Prima Malaysia as a key player in shaping the future of business both locally and beyond. Kai’s leadership emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and strategic vision, ensuring the company’s continued success and expansion.

IT Manager

Burhan H. Pratama

A proud Yogyakartan, Burhan has worked alongside Albert for six years, developing and maintaining our cutting-edge Plantation Management Systems, later referred to as PM4S (Plantation Maintenance, Monitoring, Management, and Marketing Systems).

Burhan is also the Managing Director of Prima Plants Indonesia (also known as Prima Indonesia).

Media Manager

Lev N.

Lev serves as the Media Manager for both Prima Group International and Prima Malaysia, where he oversees media strategy and communications. His role is pivotal in shaping the company’s brand presence and ensuring its visibility across various platforms.

In addition to his work with Prima, Lev is the founder of Lev Creative, a dedicated graphic design team that specializes in innovative design solutions. His expertise in media management and creative direction has been instrumental in both companies’ marketing efforts, blending strategic thinking with a passion for design.

Master Programmer

Agoes

Agoes loves to create things, but he never thought of himself as an artist. Instead, he poured his creative energy into coding, becoming a master programmer. His expertise in Filemaker databases, browser app creation and and graphics design allows him to bring even the most complex projects to life. From developing websites to designing stunning graphics, Agoes' skills are unmatched. Despite the challenges he faced, he never gave up. With dedication and hard work, he has built a successful career that allows him to help others achieve their goals. For Agoes, the satisfaction of seeing his work come to life (he says) is worth all the hours spent behind the computer.

Lead Consultant

Dr. Baharuddin Salleh

The Professor was foremost in his field of research when he was the Professor of Plant Pathology & Mycology at the University Sains Malaysia (USM, Penang). The highly published and sought-after speaker is regarded by the industry as still the leader in his field of knowledge.

The Professor is now retired and is applying his extensive knowledge, expertise and experience to the Agarwood industries and supporting Prime Plants Research & Development as not only a local director but also their lead consultant on Gaharu and member of their board of consultants.

Consultant

Siti Nurdjiati Baharuddin

Siti obtained her BSc (AgricSc) and Ir. (Master in Horticultural Sc) from Gadjah Mada University, Jogjakarta, Indonesia, and further MSc (Plant Biology) from USM. Siti has been instrumental in setting up and running the tissue culture laboratory and has been conducting research and development of all agarwood-related secondary and tertiary products.

Kamal A. Baharuddin

Kamal has worked alongside the Professor and Siti in the development, maintenance and harvesting of their own 7,000 Agarwood tree plantation in Penang.

Furthermore, Kamal supports Siti in developing Agarwood-related secondary and tertiary products, specialising as the Agarwood perfumer.

Dr. Lim Chin Thee

Sifu Lim Chin Thee is Regarded as the principal Durian Expert in Malaysia and South East Asia and is an advisor and consultant to over 20 plus Durian plantation companies across South East Asia.

Sifu Lim's passion for durian is free for all to watch on his faculty of durian YouTube Channel with almost 12,000 subscribers and some videos attracting 113,000 views

Prima Indonesia, also known as Prima Plants Indonesia (PPI), is the sister company of Prima Plants Research and Development (PPRD). As a key branch of Prima Group International, PPI operates within the same agriculture industry, with a specialized focus on Aquilaria (Agarwood) cultivation. Leveraging shared expertise and resources, PPI plays a vital role in advancing the Group’s mission to promote sustainable practices in the cultivation and preservation of Aquilaria trees. Prima Thailand, also known as Prima Research and Developments Thailand (PRDT), is the sister company of both Prima Plants Research and Development (PPRD) and Prima Plants Indonesia (PPI), all operating under the umbrella of Prima Group International. PRDT specializes primarily in the cultivation and research of Kratom and Agarwood, playing a crucial role in the Group’s broader agricultural initiatives.
